The tool kit is simple and easy to assembly. I live in an apartment which has small bath room, it helps my bath room orginized well. It fits perfect with the toilet without any screw or nails.- Shelf took me no more than 30 mins to assemble- Steps were straight forward and easy to understand- Took up most of the toilet space, so won't be able to place anything on the side- Simple design and able to hold all the items that were originally on my sink- Came with the tools to assemble the shelfOnly con I do have about the shelf is that it comes with an adhesive padding which sticks to the top of the toilet lid. Personally I think it would have been better if the stick was replaced with a suction cup instead this way the shelf will be more reusable.The shelf does come with an extra set of adhesive pads and I extra screw just in case if I were to drop and loose one.Overall, I like this organizer, although I think it should probably be below $20.It's sturdy and is the perfect size for sitting on top of the toilet tank. I didn't need to use any of the mounting hooks, it balances fine on top of the toilet. However, it would probably be a good idea to use at least one anchor point so that it can't easily be knocked over.There is some assembly required. The instructions are clear and easy. There are about 14 points where it needs to be bolted together using tiny bolts and nuts. They include a nut wrench and hex wrench for tightening.This is about my only complaint, as the bolts and nuts are small enough that it's easy to drop them and lose them as you're trying to assemble the shelf. It's probably a project best done somewhere that the bolts/nuts can't easily get lost or roll away. I assembled it on my bed so that they'd drop onto the bedsheet and stay put if I dropped them.I'm pretty pleased with it, it really helps organize toiletries in my bathroom. It's priced a little higher than I think it should be (but not by much) and it's a slight nuisance to have to assemble it, so I took off one star.It sits on the back of my standard-sized toilet with plenty of room to spare. Holds about 4 large rolls of toilet tissue and not much else.This is pretty much as depicted, though not necessarily stable enough for tall bottles on the open shelf.It contains some of the clutter in our bathroom and keeps the small things on the back of the toilet from increasing or -- worse yet -- falling in to the toilet!I am definitely not disappointed in it overall. (I am looking for ways for our ADHD household to be more organized and less cluttered.) However, it's not designed well (or the metal isn't cut evenly), so once it's put together, it puts serious stress on the top washers. I already had one pop off. (If the screw was a bit longer, that wouldn't have happened, so I may need to buy a couple of longer screws.)That is the source of the four star rating. (I might, given the price, lean closer to 3.5 stars, but I really do like the basic functionality of it and its ability to help me be more organized and contain clutter.)EDITED: In the week since the review was written, however, I've had to throw away the book the was on the shelf because if you aren't careful, things will slide right through the bars and oop! into the toilet. Lost a book that way (gross). If there were one more bar on the shelf, things would be more reliably contained in the basket. Given the back of toilet location, this is pretty important.These shelves have a real practical value, particularly if you're in a small apartment or you have kids and are short on bathroom shelves. Attractive too. Unlike other reviewers, I found this annoyingly difficult to assemble. The small screws and bolts maddening. The itsy-bitsy wrench equally frustrating.That said, assembly is a mere 15 minutes of your life and then you have a very nice bathroom addition.Sure, the picture looks nice, but this thing is a headache to assemble. Lots of tiny screws and tiny parts. You really have to be in the right mood to tackle this project. Nice when it is completed, but...Assembly is pretty straightforward and simple. The instructions are clear and easy to follow, and it’s adequately sturdy and stays in place, which is the most important thing. And it looks good as well.
