We spent a lot of time researching small cabinets. My grandchildren come out for the summer, and I wanted a place to keep all their plates and cups. When putting the cabinet together it seemed okay, however when we put the shelf on and pressed it down so the slot would go over the peg sticking out on the side of the cabinet a piece of the shelf broke off. The cabinet according to the description was engineered wood, however that was not the case with the shelf as well as the back. It appeared to be pressed cardboard. We were able to glue the piece back together with Gorilla glue using a clamp and got it in the cabinet, but I would not place anything heavy on the shelf.This cabinet provides the size I need in a little corner space. The hardware is well separated and labeled to get you through the assembly based solely on the diagram, which could be more descriptive. All the tools you need are included in the package. While it may be a bit overpriced for value, it does its job of neatly storing your stuff.One of the holes are drilled on the out side of the cabinet door. You really need a strong hand or a power tool screwdriver. Looked like one of the boards had smudged dirty hand print. However it is standing and holds things.These were terrible to assemble. I ordered 2 and didn't even put the first one all the way together before taking it back apart. It is cheap cheap cheap material. The screw driver that was included only worked with a handful of the screws. The back panel didn't line up. The metal pegs that hold the shelf on constantly fall off so getting the shelf to stay on is almost impossible. When I finally got the shelf to stay on the corner broke off where the metal pegs sits and that's why I never finished assembling it. Ripped it apart and put it back in the box. Waste of money!!
